Summary: The UX Designer role at Whitehall Resources involves a hybrid working arrangement, requiring two days per week on-site in Warwickshire for an initial six-month contract. The designer will collaborate closely with UI designers and developers to create user-centric digital experiences while ensuring compliance with usability and legal standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Take creative direction, brand principles and design vision and develop these faithfully into user experiences across multiple digital interfaces.
- Develop wireframes and interactive design prototypes to bring the vision to life.
- Work closely with UI designers, managers and SW developers to ensure the vision is delivered.
- Ensure design solutions are intuitive and user centric.
- Ensure design solutions meet usability, accessibility and legal requirements.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with creative operations, programme management and business operations teams to ensure content delivery timing can be supported.
- Stakeholder management across interdependent design functions.
Key Skills:
- Excellent UX design process experience gained in agency and corporate settings.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering UX solutions.
- Understanding of legal, accessibility and usability standards and requirements.
- Automotive design experience preferable.
- Experience of user research methodologies that influence user centric design.
- Experience of usability testing.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex information to all levels within the business.
- Comfortable working across different cultures, geography and time zones.
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced design environment.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe etc.

Whitehall Resources are looking for a UX Designer. This role is hybrid working with 2 days per week onsite in Warwickshire, and the remainder remote working, for an initial 6 month contract.

Purpose of the Role:
The UX designer is responsible for shaping the experience. Working closely with UI design as part of a design pair, the UX designer blends creativity with a deep knowledge of best-practices and design patterns that can be woven into the creative vision, and later developed in to tangible and deployable solutions that are robust and technically and legally compliant.
