Key Responsibilities:
- Push for a customer-centric approach while meeting business objectives.
- Ensure outputs adhere to relevant policies and standards.
- Introduce new strategies and initiatives for the Experience Design team.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the team.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and influence project directions.
- Communicate effectively with design and development teams, business analysts, and senior stakeholders.
- Undertake line management responsibilities for junior team members.
- Execute the UCD process, including delivery of personas, user journeys, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Lead workshops and presentations to explore business requirements and promote stakeholder buy-in.
- Proactively solve problems using factual information.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a UX Design role.
- Experience in an Agile environment.
- Academic background or professional qualification in a related field.
- Experience designing for web and mobile across multiple channels.
- Solid understanding of core digital technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android, iOS).
- Proficient in UX software such as Axure RP Pro, Bohemian Sketch, Adobe XD.
- Ability to lead workshops and presentations.
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the financial sector (desirable).
- Understanding of accessibility best practices for digital products (desirable).

Key Accountabilities
Constantly push for a customer-centric approach whilst delivering on required business objectives Ensuring all outputs adhere to all relevant policies and standards eg channel, brand, design language Help to instigate the introduction of new strategies and initiatives to ensure the Experience Design team fulfil their maximum potential Identify and implement process improvements within the team Stakeholder Management and Leadership Work closely with business stakeholders, challenging business propositions through clear reasoning and evidence to help influence the direction of projects.
Communicate effectively with design and development teams, business analysts, solutions architects, product owners and senior stakeholders You will undertake line management responsibilities for junior team members and ensure their individual needs and personal objectives are met UX Design Skills Execute the UCD process from start to finish including the delivery of personas, user journeys, sketches, wireframes and interactive prototypes Be a conceptual thinker and inspire colleagues and stakeholders Proficient in popular UX software such as Axure RP Pro, Bohemian Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
