Summary: The role of UX Designer C2 Mobile View involves working in a hybrid capacity in London, focusing on delivering customer-centric design solutions within the financial industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading design initiatives, managing stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to design standards. This position requires a strong background in UX design and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. The contract is for six months with potential for extension, starting in June.
Key Responsibilities:
- Constantly push for a customer-centric approach whilst delivering on required business objectives
- Ensuring all outputs adhere to all relevant policies and standards eg channel, brand, design language
- Help to instigate the introduction of new strategies and initiatives to ensure the Experience Design team fulfil their maximum potential
- Identify and implement process improvements within the team
- Stakeholder Management and Leadership
- Work closely with business stakeholders, challenging business propositions through clear reasoning and evidence to help influence the direction of projects.
- Communicate effectively with design and development teams, business analysts, solutions architects, product owners and senior stakeholders
- You will undertake line management responsibilities for junior team members and ensure their individual needs and personal objectives are met
Key Skills:
- Execute the UCD process from start to finish including the delivery of personas, user journeys, sketches, wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Be a conceptual thinker and inspire colleagues and stakeholders
- Proficient in popular UX software such as Axure RP Pro, Bohemian Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
- Be able to lead workshops, presentations and walkthrough sessions as required to explore business requirements, promote shared understanding, stakeholder buy in and acceptance of all work.
- Proactive in solving problems effectively, using multiple sources of factual information
- Experience working in a UX Design role
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Academic background or professional qualification in a related field
- Demonstrable experience designing for web and mobile, and for complex systems across multiple channels
- Solid understanding of core digital technologies eg HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android and iOS
- Experience working in the financial sector.
- Understanding of accessibility best-practice for digital products and services
