Venesky-Brown s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a User Researcher for an initial 6 month contract on a rate between 500- 550/day (Outside IR35). This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.Responsibilities:- Plan, design, and conduct user research to gather insights on user needs, behaviours, and pain points.- Use a variety of research methods, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis.- Collaborate with service designers and business analysts to translate user insights into actionable recommendations.- Advocate for users and ensure their needs are at the forefront of decision-making.- Work closely with the project team to ensure compliance with criteria and principles.- Document and share research findings to inform the development of user-centred solutions.- Contribute to the development of personas, user journeys, and scenarios.- Provide expertise in accessibility and inclusivity to ensure all users are considered.Essential Skills:- Experience conducting user research in digital transformation projects.- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
