Summary: A leading organization is looking for a UX Researcher/Service Designer for a 6-month contract to conduct in-depth research and design user-centric services. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to enhance customer experiences through various design methodologies. The position is hybrid, requiring two days on-site in Glasgow and three days remote. The contract is inside IR35 and requires working through an umbrella company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to uncover customer needs, preferences, and pain points
- Create service blueprints, journey maps, and personas to visualize experiences
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to design service solutions
- Facilitate workshops and design sprints to co-create with stakeholders
- Prototype and test service concepts, iterating based on user feedback and performance data
- Analyse service performance and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities
- Document design processes and outcomes for knowledge sharing and continuity
