Summary: As a User Designer UI/UX aligned with GDS standards, you will be responsible for designing inclusive and accessible services. Key Responsibilities:
- Translate user needs into design artefacts, such as prototypes and mock-ups.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including researchers, developers, content designers, and product teams.
- Ensure consistency by applying GDS patterns and components.
- Test and iterate designs based on user research and analytics.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design at every stage.
Key Skills:
- Experience in user-centred design and prototyping tools (Figma, GOV.UK Prototype Kit).
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and the ability to build or adapt interactive prototypes.
- Familiarity with GDS service phases and the Design System.
- Agile team working and rapid iteration skills.
- Strong communication skills to explain and justify design choices.

Role Summary
