Summary: The French-Speaking UAT Tester will join a leading travel client's Business Support team in Folkestone, focusing on passenger commercial systems. The role involves ensuring solutions meet business needs through user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborating with both business users and technical teams. The position requires fluency in French and English, along with experience in UAT and functional testing. This is a dynamic role that offers the chance to work on large-scale projects within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to prepare and execute UAT, functional, and regression tests
- Draft test cases, acceptance criteria, and test strategies
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Support business users throughout UAT, providing guidance and reporting results
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing processes
Key Skills:
- Fluent in French and English
- 1–5 years’ experience in UAT, functional testing, or quality assurance
- Familiarity with Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray) and Postman
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Team player with a customer-focused mindset
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Curious and adaptable, able to quickly learn new tools and processes
Salary (Rate): £37.50/hr
