Summary: We are seeking a User Experience Researcher who thrives in extremely fast-paced environments and is passionate about improving internal tools through rapid, iterative testing. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly generate insights to inform product decisions and has a strong understanding of Client's incident management processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute rapid usability tests and concept evaluations to support internal product teams.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to translate research findings into actionable improvements.
  • Conduct contextual inquiries and workflow studies with internal users, especially those involved in incident response and resolution.
  • Analyze and synthesize data quickly to meet tight timelines without compromising quality.
  • Advocate for user needs in the development of tools that support operational excellence and incident handling.

Key Skills:

  • Rapid UX Research Methods: Minimum 5 years, with proven ability to independently run end-to-end rapid research studies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data Analysis & Written Communication: Minimum 5 years, with demonstrated skill in analyzing research data and producing executive-level written reports.
  • Incident Management Experience: Preferably with ICM or similar large-scale systems; strong preference for candidates with direct experience, but open to those with relevant large company incident management backgrounds.
  • Proven experience conducting fast-turnaround UX research in agile environments.
  • Familiarity with internal incident management systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working on internal tools for engineers a plus.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $65.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
