Summary: The Senior Technical Designer role focuses on creating engaging gameplay experiences for VR, mobile, and PC platforms within a leading gaming company. This position requires a strong background in game scripting and technical design, with an emphasis on collaboration and iteration based on user feedback. The contract is for two months with the potential for extensions, and the work is primarily onsite in Leamington Spa. Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Implement engaging gameplay experiences for VR, mobile, and PC
• Script & Prototype fun, interactive elements using TypeScript (or similar)
• Playtest & Iterate designs based on cross-platform user feedback
• Work Closely with designers, artists, and UX teams to polish gameplay
• Debug & Optimize performance for a seamless user experience

Key Skills:

• 8-10 years in game Scripting or technical design
• Strong TypeScript or similar Scripting experience
• Knowledge of game architecture & common mechanics
• Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar
• Understanding of VR/MR & mobile gaming interactions
• Proven track record of shipped game titles
