Summary: We’re seeking a Unity Developer / XR Engineer to join a team focused on creating immersive simulation tools for surgical training and robotics. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain immersive XR applications using Unity and C#.
- Implement intuitive interaction systems using XR Interaction Toolkit / OpenXR.
- Optimise performance for standalone devices (Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, etc.).
- Integrate 3D assets, animations, audio, and UI into interactive training scenes.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and healthcare experts to refine user experience.
- Support testing, debugging, and documentation to ensure smooth delivery.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience developing in Unity with strong C# skills.
- Deep understanding of performance optimization on small devices.
- Experience shipping at least one Unity-based product.
- Strong grasp of interaction systems, UX, and cross-platform workflows.
- Confident communicator, able to collaborate with remote and senior stakeholders.
- Experience in VR / XR development (training, simulation, or healthcare) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Unity Addressables, URP/HDRP, shaders, or multiplayer features.
- Exposure to robotics, surgical, or medical simulation projects is advantageous.
