Underwriting Services Analyst

Summary: The Underwriting Services Analyst will support the Underwriting Services Team Lead in managing technical operations across various departments, including underwriting, finance, claims, operations, and compliance. This role involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders, overseeing offshore teams, and ensuring the accuracy of premium and claims transactions. The analyst will also focus on process improvements and operational development to enhance efficiency. Candidates should have relevant experience in the London Market, particularly in premium handling and claims processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key liaison between underwriting teams, finance, and external stakeholders such as brokers, underwriters, and carriers.
• Assist in organising, prioritising, and allocating work requests to outsourced teams.
• Oversee premium, claims, and processing requests handled by offshore teams.
• Process and review premium and claims transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage credit control reporting and liaise with third parties.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support the development of systems and operational processes.

Key Skills:

• Experience in a processing role within an MGA, Broker, or Carrier, particularly in the London Market.
• Expertise in premium handling, claims payments, credit control, and bordereaux servicing.
• Experience in coordinating and overseeing outsourced teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
