Summary: The UK & Nordics Marketing Specialist will collaborate with the EMEA Marketing Manager to plan and execute local marketing activities aimed at generating leads and supporting sales growth in the UK and Nordics. This role involves developing a comprehensive understanding of the local market ecosystem and creating integrated marketing campaigns in partnership with local sales teams and channel partners. The specialist will also monitor campaign performance and ensure alignment with corporate marketing strategies. The position requires a proactive marketer with a strong background in B2B environments and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participation in the budget and marketing planning for the year including co-marketing plan development for channel partners
  • Resource planning and budget control
  • Development and implementation of local marketing activities according to the Corporate Guidelines and in line with local sales plans
  • Generation of qualified end customer leads through marketing campaigns
  • Management and success control of these campaigns using the CRM system
  • Organization of trade fairs and events as well as on-site representation
  • Media/Press work – touchpoint for local media, develop a media plan including some activities

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree/apprenticeship in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study
  • Fluent in English (C2); knowledge of any Nordic language is a plus
  • Familiarity with Ms Dynamics/Office preferred
  • Understanding of how to drive business and marketing in the field and through the channel ecosystem
  • Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services required

Job Description In this Role, you will work closely with the EMEA Marketing Manager to plan, execute and manage within UK & Nordics all local marketing activities.

Role Mission He/she will help develop and deliver local marketing activities that support the local sales organization by creating demand (leads) that will help to acquire new customers, retain and grow existing customers and deliver growth in revenue. He/she will develop a deep understanding of the local ecosystem including the channel and field priorities to help define a local marketing plan including channel marketing plans to support growth objectives. He/she will work closely with local sales, the EMEA marketing manager, channel sales and the global marcom team for designing integrated campaigns for the local market. These campaigns will include co-marketing activities with channel partners and will be supported from creation to completion. He/she will be constantly interacting with the local sales team and channel partners, including regular participation in team calls, in person meetings and planning sessions. He/she will interact constantly with the EMEA marketing manager to ensure compliance with the corporate marketing and communication plan. He/she will constantly monitor the campaigns including channel marketing campaigns and their results and ensure budget alignment and regular ROI verification.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree/apprenticeship in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study. Languages: English (Fluent / C2). Knowledge of any Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, or Icelandic) is a plus Experience: Familiarity with Ms Dynamics/Office preferred Specific Knowledge & Information Technology: Understanding of how to drive business and marketing in the field and also with and through the channel ecosystem; Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services required; Demonstrated experience in cooperating with sales team; Creative thinking, problem solving and have a bias for action; Motivated marketer who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business; Analytical tendencies with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible; Team player.
