We are hiring UI Engineer/Front-End UI Engineer (UI components and patterns - Banking Domain)
Location: Hybrid 2-3 days in London Office
- Strong core web fundamentals with semantic HTML5, CSS3/SASS, modern vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), Web Components, RESTful APIs, and secure authentication/error-handling protocols
- Prior experience in Global Financial Services and Banking domain with enterprise-grade security, cross-browser reliability, and compliance with strict banking software standards.
- Advanced hands-on application of WCAG standards, semantic markup, pragmatic ARIA patterns, keyboard navigation, and focus/labeling management.
- Should have visual/UI design judgment paired with active experience creating, documenting, and scaling reusable component libraries and design system patterns.
- Mid-to-Senior level engineering experience capable of driving full lifecycle delivery (requirements, design, build, test, production, support), mentoring junior developers, and managing technical debt in an agile, flow-based environment.
- Strong background in pair programming, team capability uplifting, code reviews, and breaking complex features down into iterative delivery stories.
