Summary: Our client, an IT solutions provider, is seeking a senior Front-End developer with expertise in JavaScript frameworks, specifically React.js, Redux, and Mobx, to join their development team for a financial services client in London. This is a 6-month contract role inside IR35, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing web applications and responsive interfaces. Candidates should have a strong background in CSS development and familiarity with HTML5 APIs, as well as knowledge of the investment banking domain. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and passionate about technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop web applications and responsive interfaces for mobile/desktop browsers.
- Utilize modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Redux, Mobx) in development.
- Implement CSS development with or without pre-processors.
- Work with HTML5 APIs (canvas, svg, localStorage).
- Engage in Continuous Development/Continuous Integration practices.
- Apply knowledge of Java/J2EE in development tasks.
- Utilize UML design and design patterns in project work.
- Understand regulatory environments and finance as it relates to development.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Redux, Mobx).
- Strong CSS development skills.
- Experience with react-native is a plus.
- Familiarity with HTML5 APIs.
- Knowledge of Continuous Development/Continuous Integration.
- Understanding of Java/J2EE.
- Good knowledge of UML design and design patterns.
