Summary: This UI Developer role is part of the Investigations IT team, focusing on the full application development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, and deployment. The position involves supporting existing investigator tool services and collaborating with various teams to enhance service delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud development, particularly with Google, and a background in banking or financial crime risk projects. Essential technical skills include proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Google Cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all parts of the application development lifecycle (design, coding, testing & deployment into production).
  • Support existing investigator tool services (solving issues, automation, service improvements, technical debt).
  • Collaborate with colleagues at all levels (individual POD, DRA team, Compliance & central teams e.g. Architecture & Security).

Key Skills:

  • Full development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, data, infrastructure).
  • Development in a Cloud project (preferably Google).
  • Development in a Banking and/or Financial Crime Risk project.
  • Experience building secure web applications using the JavaScript programming language.
  • A good understanding of the React JavaScript framework.
  • Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities in web applications.
  • Good working knowledge of Google Cloud Containers (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE).
  • SQL, Databases (PostgreSQL, Big Query).
  • Agile development principles (Scrum, Jira, Confluence).
