Strong visual design fundamentals, including a sophisticated understanding of typography, colour theory, visual hierarchy, and motion design for interactive states, are expected alongside the Figma technical proficiency. Knowledge of accessibility standards, particularly WCAG 2.1 AA colour contrast and interaction design requirements, is increasingly expected across the market.
