Summary: The UAT Tester role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design and execute user acceptance testing for release-specific requirements. The position requires the tester to manage defects, provide status reports, and ensure comprehensive testing governance. A strong understanding of Payments & Liquidity is mandatory, along with experience in non-functional testing. The contract is classified as inside IR35 and is expected to last for approximately six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Products, Operations, Technology, and Vendor teams to understand business requirements.
- Design end-to-end (E2E) test scenarios for release-specific requirements following standard formats and using designated tools.
- Set up, actively utilize, and maintain comprehensive E2E automation scripts to ensure robust implementation and seamless integration into business workflows.
- Execute release-based testing of existing test cases using recommended tools, covering all partner applications (internal and external).
- Identify, document, participate in triage meetings, retest, and track defects through to closure.
- Provide daily status reports detailing execution progress, risks, and challenges.
- Participate in periodic meetings with vendor project leads and program managers to track progress.
- Take end-to-end ownership and manage the program through measurement, baselining, and tracking of KPIs and SLAs agreed upon by all parties.
- Conduct non-functional testing such as Performance, Security, Accessibility, etc.
Key Skills:
- Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Strong understanding of Payments & Liquidity.
- Proficiency in designing test scenarios and executing test cases.
- Experience with automation testing tools and scripts.
- Ability to manage defects and provide status reporting.
- Knowledge of non-functional testing (Performance, Security, Accessibility).
