Summary: The UAT Test Lead role focuses on driving the strategy, planning, and execution of User Acceptance Testing within a large-scale digital transformation programme, specifically involving Salesforce and integrated enterprise systems. This position requires collaboration between business and technology to ensure solutions meet user needs and deliver business value. The role involves leading UAT activities in an Agile environment and engaging with various stakeholders to ensure effective testing processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the UAT strategy, approach, and governance aligned with overall programme delivery
  • Establish and embed a practical, scalable UAT framework across business and delivery teams
  • Ensure clear entry and exit criteria for UAT cycles and programme increments
  • Oversee end-to-end UAT lifecycle: Test planning, Scenario definition, Execution and defect management, Test closure and sign-off
  • Ensure readiness across environments, test data, tooling, and user access
  • Coordinate UAT activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives)
  • Promote early testing engagement and continuous feedback loops
  • Ensure upstream testing (SIT) provides sufficient quality and traceability for UAT entry
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, SMEs, QA teams, and delivery teams
  • Support and coach business users in: Test scenario creation, User journey validation, Value-focused testing
  • Provide clear reporting on UAT progress, risks, and quality outcomes
  • Identify testing risks early and implement mitigation strategies
  • Proactively remove blockers impacting UAT execution
  • Ensure transparency and timely escalation of issues

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a UAT Test Lead within large-scale transformation programmes
  • Strong experience with Salesforce platforms (Service Cloud, integrations, or CRM processes)
  • Good understanding of end-to-end system integration (APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft)
  • Experience in enterprise environments (SAP, cloud platforms like Azure/AWS)
  • Experience working across Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps delivery models
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both business and technical audiences
  • Experience managing testing in fast-paced, time-boxed delivery environments
  • Exposure to geospatial or asset-based systems (desirable)
  • Experience in regulated or complex enterprise environments (desirable)
