Summary: The UAT Test Analyst plays a critical role in validating software applications against business, functional, and technical requirements. The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables within project timelines. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed UAT test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on functional specifications and user stories in JIRA or support the Automation team to automate tests.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for software applications.
  • Identify, document, track, and re-test bugs, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with developers.
  • Produce clear, concise test reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate test coverage and quality status using JIRA.
  • Ensure test data and environments are fit for purpose.
  • Work closely with business analysts, SMEs, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and project goals.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in writing Aladdin Test Cases for Aladdin Accounting and/or Experience in Performance Measure and Client Reporting.
  • Over 10 years of Experience in software testing, with proven expertise as a Test Analyst or Tester.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (ISTQB qualification preferred).
  • Experience in large-scale Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office programme delivery in the asset management/financial services sector.
  • Deep understanding and business knowledge of OEMS End-to-End life cycle covering all asset classes.
  • Experience with implementing BlackRock's Aladdin Platform.
  • Familiarity with test and defect management tools (JIRA).
