Job Title: UAT Test Analyst

Job Description

The role of a UAT Test Analyst is pivotal in ensuring that software applications adhere to business, functional, and technical requirements. The position involves the analysis of requirements, creation of comprehensive test scenarios, execution of manual tests, and providing support to the automation team. Additionally, documenting defects is crucial to delivering a high-quality product within the stipulated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed UAT test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on functional specifications and user stories in JIRA or support the Automation team to automate tests.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for software applications.
• Identify, document, track, and re-test bugs, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with developers.
• Produce clear, concise test reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate test coverage and quality status using JIRA.
• Ensure test data and environments are fit for purpose.
• Work closely with business analysts, SMEs, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and project goals.

Essential Skills

• Experience in writing Aladdin Test Cases for Aladdin Accounting and/or Experience in Performance Measure and Client Reporting.
• Over 10 years of Experience in software testing, with proven expertise as a Test Analyst or Tester.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (ISTQB qualification preferred).
• Experience in large-scale Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office programme delivery in the asset management/financial services sector.
• Deep understanding and business knowledge of OEMS End-to-End life cycle covering all asset classes.
• Experience with implementing BlackRock's Aladdin Platform.
• Familiarity with test and defect management tools (JIRA).
