Summary: The TTRO AVP EMIR role focuses on ensuring compliance with trade and transaction reporting regulations, specifically EMIR and other related frameworks. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with EMIR and other relevant regulations such as MiFID II, CFTC, and SFTR.
- Oversee accurate, timely, and complete transaction reporting across various asset classes including Rates, Credit, Commodities, Equities, Loans, and Foreign Exchange.
- Manage day-to-day exception handling, perform root cause analysis, and escalate significant issues to senior management.
- Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement system solutions aimed at automating exception processes.
- Drive a culture of high performance, ownership, and integrity within the team.
- Support the design and conceptualization of new business solutions and articulate identified impacts and risks.
Key Skills:
- Experience in operations within financial services, with in-depth knowledge of EMIR Regulation.
- Strong analytical and logical mindset with a good approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively in virtual teams and matrixed organizations.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external teams.
- Pairing & Matching and Client delegated experience would be great, but not essential.

About The Role
TTRO team’s (Trade and Transaction Reporting Operations) role is to ensure accurate, timely and complete trade reporting to regulatory regimes overseen by ESMA, MIFID II and CFTC etc. TTRO is also responsible for providing independent assurance and governance on a regular basis over the regulatory operational processes, including production of the relevant metrics, governance reports and regulator updates. You will be part of the TTRO Control Function. The team the candidate manages will be responsible for supporting the control functions for Trade and Transaction reporting, focusing on EMIR and other European & US regulations. These duties incorporate daily control, MI and exception management processes. User Acceptance testing required on a monthly or ad hoc basis.
