Summary: The Trust Policy Programme Manager will oversee regulatory compliance initiatives for a leading consumer technology company, focusing on online safety and trust policy. This contract role involves collaboration across various teams to implement scalable operational processes and ensure adherence to regulatory obligations. The position requires strong programme management skills and the ability to translate complex legal requirements into actionable plans. The role is hybrid, requiring one day per week onsite in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading cross-functional regulatory compliance programmes from planning through delivery.
  • Translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical operational and product initiatives.
  • Partnering with Legal, Product, Engineering, Operations, Privacy and Data Science teams.
  • Developing implementation plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and governance frameworks.
  • Supporting regulatory reporting, audits and submissions.
  • Tracking delivery progress and communicating programme updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Driving consistency across compliance processes and operational controls.

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years' experience delivering complex programmes within a technology organisation.
  • Experience in Trust & Safety, regulatory compliance, legal operations, programme management or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of online safety legislation such as: EU Digital Services Act (DSA), UK Online Safety Act, Australian Online Safety legislation, US platform safety regulations.
  • Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent programme management and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to support decision making.
  • Previous experience working within Trust & Safety is advantageous.
  • Experience influencing Engineering and Product teams.
  • Experience delivering large cross-functional regulatory programmes.
  • A pragmatic, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.

Trust Policy Programme Manager (Contract) Contract: Until December 2026 (extensions likely) Location: Hybrid/London – 1 day per week onsite Day Rate: £600-£650 Outside IR35 Are you an experienced Programme Manager with a background in regulatory compliance, Trust & Safety, or online platform policy ? We're supporting one of the world's leading consumer technology businesses as they continue to strengthen their Trust Policy function. This is an opportunity to play a key role in helping the organisation meet its global online safety and regulatory obligations, working across Legal, Product, Engineering, Operations and Data teams to deliver complex compliance programme s. This is a highly visible contract position where you'll help shape how regulatory requirements are translated into scalable operational processes and product delive ry.
