Summary: The Treasury Systems Application Support Engineer role involves providing IT application support for Treasury Systems within a financial services environment. The position requires ensuring maximum service availability for Treasury applications and assisting with strategic projects and service improvements. The engineer will also engage with suppliers and manage incidents to resolve technical issues effectively. This contract position is set to begin on 31/03/2025 and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide IT application support for Treasury Systems to meet business operational requirements.
• Ensure maximum service availability for all Treasury applications.
• Offer occasional out of hours support for business critical and regulatory tasks.
• Assist with the delivery of strategic projects, both individually and as part of a team.
• Deliver BAU small changes and service improvements, highlighting benefits and risks.
• Liaise with suppliers and business partners for rapid resolution of technical issues.
• Engage with Major Incident Managers for high severity failures and root cause analysis.

Key Skills:

• Technical and/or functional knowledge of Treasury IT systems, particularly Swift and/or Kondor+.
• Experience with SWIFT services, including RTGS/Enquiry Link and Bottomline services.
• Database development skills, particularly in SQL or Sybase.
• Incident management experience and IT troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with call logging systems, e.g., SMAX.
• Experience in IT service delivery with business customers.
