Summary: Nottingham College is looking for a qualified Travel, Tourism, and Aviation Lecturer for a temporary assignment from June 2nd to June 26th, 2026. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching to learners aged 16-18 in Level 2 and Level 3 programmes. The position requires strong industry experience and the ability to deliver pre-planned curriculum content effectively. This is an on-site role with a commitment of 10 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:

Temporary Opportunity: Travel, Tourism & Aviation Lecturer Nottingham College is seeking an experienced and qualified Travel, Tourism and Aviation Lecturer to join the team on a short-term temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled FE professional who can confidently deliver high-quality teaching to learners aged 16–18 across Level 2 and Level 3 programmes.
Contract Duration: 2nd June – 26th June 2026
Pay Rate: £25/hour (PAYE) or £27/hour (Self-Employed)
Delivery: Onsite only
Hours: 10 hours per week (2 days)
Tuesday: 10:00–12:00 & 13:00–15:00
Wednesday: 09:00–12:00 & 13:00–16:00
Candidate Requirements
- Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Travel, Tourism or Aviation
- Strong industry experience within the travel and tourism sector
- Proven experience delivering teaching or training within an FE setting
- Ability to confidently deliver pre-planned curriculum content from day one
- Experience teaching learners aged 16–18 at Level 2 and Level 3
