Key Responsibilities:
- Support the transport planning team on development-led projects
- Produce and update highways and transport drawings using AutoCAD
- Prepare S278/S38 layouts, junction designs, and general arrangement drawings
- Assist with drawings for Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
- Ensure compliance with UK design standards and local authority requirements
- Coordinate with internal project teams to meet deadlines
- Maintain accurate electronic project records
- Contribute to the establishment and growth of the Birmingham office

I'm working with a well-established transport and infrastructure consultancy that delivers integrated services across transport planning, highways (S278/S38) design, drainage, environmental planning, and project delivery. Operating nationally, the business works with a diverse range of public and private sector clients on development-led schemes. The consultancy is continuing to expand it's new Birmingham office and is looking to appoint a Transport AutoCAD Technician to join one of the early hires in the team.
This role is focused on supporting the transport planning team , specialising in development planning projects , and helping deliver high-quality, technically accurate design outputs.

- Support the transport planning team on development-led projects
