Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Trade Lane Manager in planning and executing transportation operations for finished products from EAME production centres to Dealers.
- Initiate continuous improvement ideas and larger transformational initiatives.
- Review and identify areas for improvement in transportation lanes through performance management of carriers.
- Support operational performance metrics and collaborate across teams to achieve targets.
- Leverage systems and business intelligence dashboards to identify improvement opportunities.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or third-level education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in international transportation (Ocean, Road, Air) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of data flow between Transportation Management Systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook).
- Familiarity with PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Power BI, Power Automate, Salesforce, V lookups, pivot tables, and calculations.

Our Client a Global manufacturing company are seeking a Transport Analyst for a contract position of 6 months in Larne - Northern Ireland.
The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Transport Analyst professional?
Role: As an Transport Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the Trade Lane Management Team to drive Transportation operational efficiencies & processes for Prime Products moving from EAME facilities to Dealers or end customers internationally. Integrated with orders management and planning processes, you will plan and execute international transportation shipments to reduce overall transit time and variability, in-transit inventory, and transportation cost. You will be a member of the Outbound Prime Product Logistics Team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- As an Transport Analyst, you will be responsible to Support the Trade Lane Manager to plan and execute transportation operations for finished products from production centres in EAME to Dealers in region and overseas.
- Support and initiate continuous improvement ideas or larger transformational initiatives.
- You will review and identify areas for improvement through review of Velocity on our Transportation Lanes and identify areas for improvement through performance management of our carriers.
- You will support the operational performance metrics (velocity, cost, data quality) and work across teams to achieve the targets.
- Leverage systems, business intelligence dashboard and relationships to identify improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Transport Analyst will have Bachelor degree or third level education in Supply chain, business administration (Master is a plus) or equivalent experience in Supply chain, business administration.
- Prior experience in International transportation in Ocean (Container/RORO), Road (Truck) and Air, 2 years relevant experience.
- Appetite to understand the flow of data between our Transportation Management Systems and ability to work in an evolving & dynamic environment.
- Motivated to gain expertise in international transportation processes.
- Strong Skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Share point, One Drive, Outlook)
- Good to Have (PowerPoint, Word), Working Knowledge of Visio, Power Bi, Power Automate, Salesforce V look ups, pivot tables, weighted average, calculations.
