Summary: The Transport Planner - Consultant role involves providing strategic highway and transport advice on planning applications for a local council. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic highway and transport advice on planning applications.
• Assist with negotiation and progression of Section 106 and 278 transport improvement packages.
• Respond to planning applications of all scales on behalf of the Highway Authority.
• Consider internal site layouts and suitability of access arrangements.
• Assess and negotiate off-site mitigation packages.
• Analyze data and interpret transport modeling.
• Prepare draft reports.
• Travel to various locations within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
