Contract Role: Retail Merchandising Consultant – Operating Model Transformation

Location: Hybrid – Remote with Onsite Workshops (North of London)

Start Date: Mid-August

Duration: ~10 Weeks (Split into Two Phases)

Rate Range: £600–£1,000/day (Outside IR35, Based on Experience)

Overview: We are supporting a strategic transformation project for a leading UK retailer to redefine their Non-Food Operating Model. The engagement includes competitor benchmarking, analysis of emerging trends, senior stakeholder workshops, and capability mapping, followed by gap analysis, a change roadmap, and business case development. We are seeking Retail Merchandising Consultants with a strong consulting background and hands-on experience in operating model design, transformation strategy, or merchandising analytics.
