Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the transactional finance team on daily matters requiring attention
  • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts and manage daily cash activities
  • Support VAT returns and general tax-related compliance
  • Ensure financial data in QuickBooks is accurate and up to date
  • Assist with ad hoc finance projects as required
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties where needed
  • Provide month end support and cover as required

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Immediately available or able to start within 1 week
  • Proven experience in transactional finance, with exposure to AP, AR cash flow, and tax
  • Proficient in using QuickBooks as a general ledger tool
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, project-oriented environment

Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Transactional Finance Manager to join on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role requires a well-rounded finance professional with strong experience across transactional finance, ability to support with AP, AR, cash flow forecasting, payroll and tax and financial compliance matters, and a working knowledge of QuickBooks as the general ledger system is essential. The successful candidate must be immediately available and confident working independently. There is also scope to support project-based work during the contract term, depending on business needs.
