Summary: R&D Partners is seeking a Training Specialist to facilitate the implementation of glucose and ketone meter solutions across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. This role involves delivering high-quality training, supporting clinical teams, and ensuring a positive user experience in both hospital and community settings. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently across multiple sites. Candidates must have the right to work in the specified location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver face-to-face and remote operator training across GGC sites.
  • Support implementation and rollout activities for glucose and ketone meter systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clinical users following go-live.
  • Coordinate training schedules and maintain accurate training records.
  • Conduct competency assessments and support user sign-off processes.
  • Troubleshoot basic user and workflow issues during implementation.
  • Build strong working relationships with ward teams, POCT teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure all training activities align with governance, quality, and safety standards.
  • Support change management and user adoption across diverse clinical environments.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience delivering healthcare or diagnostic training.
  • Strong implementation or rollout experience within healthcare settings.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple sites.
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills.
  • Confident using digital training tools and systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Must live in or near Glasgow.
  • Experience within Point of Care Testing (POCT) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Diagnostics solutions.
  • NHS hospital or community healthcare experience.
  • Background in Nursing, Biomedical Science, or healthcare training.

R&D Partners is seeking an experienced and motivated Training Specialist to support the implementation of glucose and ketone meter solutions across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (GGC). This field-based role focuses on delivering high-quality operator training, supporting clinical teams during implementation, and ensuring a positive user experience across hospital and community settings.
