Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse training needs and design effective learning solutions
  • Develop training materials using structured methodologies (e.g. SAT – Systematic Approach to Training)
  • Deliver and pilot training sessions where required
  • Conduct post-training evaluations and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with SMEs to validate content and ensure accuracy
  • Support audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coach stakeholders on training delivery and developed materials

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in training design and content development
  • Strong understanding of structured learning methodologies (e.g. SAT or equivalent)
  • Experience working in regulated or safety-critical environments
  • Confident using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload proactively
  • Minimum GCSEs (A–C) in English and Maths (certificates required at interview stage)
  • Willingness to work fully on-site in Cumbria (no hybrid flexibility)
