Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training services for regulatory staff on Environmental Management and Sustainable Management of Natural Resources.
  • Provide core knowledge and behaviours needed for effective permitting and regulatory roles.
  • Audit for Sustainable Management of Natural Resources and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
  • Assess the effectiveness of EMS in delivering environmental outcomes, particularly in reducing pollution and supporting decarbonisation.
  • Conduct training courses at various sites across North, Mid, and South Wales, with occasional days at the Cardiff office HQ.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in delivering training on Environmental Management and Sustainable Management of Natural Resources.
  • Formal approval from IEMA or equivalent qualifications in Environmental Management.
  • Ability to assess and audit Environmental Management Systems.
  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in Welsh being a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel across Wales for training delivery.

Training Consultant - EMS & Sustainability Exp Wales - Feild based 6 months Inside of IR35 Market Rate + expenses

We are keen to speak to contract/freelance Trainers and Training Facilitators, who are experienced in delivering content around Environmental Management and Sustainable Management of Natural Resources.

We are looking for Trainers who have been formally approved by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA); or who can demonstrate equivalent formal training and Environmental Management qualifications and experience acceptable to the Learning and Development team.

You will be needed to deliver training services for regulatory staff, providing core knowledge and behaviours needed for effective permitting and regulatory roles.

Auditing for Sustainable Management of Natural Resources Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Performance Assessment Assess the effectiveness of EMS in delivering environmental outcomes, particularly in reducing pollution and supporting decarbonisation.

You will be required to deliver training courses at sites across North, Mid and South Wales, with a couple of days based at a Cardiff office HQ, so living in Wales would be a big benefit.
