Key Responsibilities:
- Designing Temporary Traffic Management projects in line with regulations.
- Producing and designing scaled and schematic traffic management drawings.
- Assisting with design modifications to facilitate operations.
- Ensuring all drawings comply with guidelines and maintaining up-to-date paperwork.
- Maintaining CAD models, drawings, and associated files.
- Working with Lead Designers to enhance skills in BricsCAD.
- Receiving ongoing Health & Safety and Lantra approved training.
- Developing an understanding of the sector through observation and mentorship.
Key Skills:
- Driving license or in the process of obtaining one.
- Excellent IT skills.

As well as specialising in TTM design, we also provide Vehicle Swept Path Analysis, Consultancy, RRRAP Assessments, BIM/ 3D design and traffic modelling.
About The Role Of Trainee CAD Designer
As a Trainee Temporary Traffic Management Designer, you will use an array of the latest software available in the industry, to the highest level from 2D street works to 3D BIM designs on high-speed dual carriageways.
Duties
- You will be responsible for designing these projects in line with regulations and reporting to our Design supervisor.
- Other duties will include:
- Developing an understanding of the sector through observation and working closely with your mentor
- Producing and designing scaled and schematic temporary traffic management drawings
- Assisting with design modifications to facilitate operations
- Making sure all temporary traffic management drawings are in accordance with guidelines
- Ensuring all paperwork is up to date
- Maintaining CAD models, drawings and associated files
- Working with Lead Designers to improve skills in BricsCAD and learning how to keep a consistent high standard of final presentation of temporary traffic management drawings
- Receiving continual Health & Safety and Lantra approved training to help develop and keep up to date your knowledge and experience in temporary traffic management
