Summary: The Traffic & Customs Supervisor role involves leading a small team to manage daily import and export tasks, ensuring compliance with customs regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain process documentation and manage Customs & Client's record-keeping.
  • Ensure duty management systems meet HMRC requirements and submissions are correct.
  • Oversee daily compliance activities of brokers and freight forwarders.
  • Coordinate with freight companies, production departments, and customers for timely deliveries.
  • Validate and oversee freight invoicing and payments.
  • Collaborate with shipping operational teams to help manage and achieve quality & velocity targets.
  • Ensure availability of shipping capacity and capability in line with expected demand.

Key Skills:

  • Background in logistics, transportation, compliance, and customs.
  • HSE knowledge.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 packages.
  • Experience with customs systems, such as Ricardo or Power BI.

Traffic & Customs Supervisor Desford 3 year contract 5 days a week on site £35.07 umbrella / hr Inside IR35 Background in logistics, transportation, compliance, and customs. HSE knowledge Leadership experience too. Microsoft 365 packages. Customs systems, such as Ricardo, or power BI. All local ERP systems will have training provided. As the Traffic & Customs Manager, you will lead a small team to handle daily import and export tasks. Your main job is to make sure Client parts and products move smoothly across international borders, following all Customs rules. You will ensure Client meets customs requirements by managing risks and controls.

What you will do As a Traffic & Customs Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain process documentation and manage Customs & Client's record-keeping.
  • Ensure duty management systems meet HMRC requirements and submissions are correct.
  • Oversee daily compliance activities of brokers and freight forwarders.
  • Coordinate with freight companies, production departments, and customers for timely deliveries.
