Trade Surveillance - Alert - Calibration - Market Abuse
Trade Surveillance (Calibration) Officer required by large Investment Bank, in London to work with the Bank's Trader Surveillance team IT.
As a Trade Surveillance Officer, you'll assist in reviewing market abuse alerting for optimising alert calibration, ensuring alerting is enhanced, remains robust and as accurate as possible.
- You'll play a vital role in undertaking market abuse related surveillance alert calibration reviews to improve existing market abuse surveillance scenarios and controls.
- You'll have the opportunity to develop your analytical skills, in this collaborative and fast-paced role.
- Assisting in providing in-depth analysis of alerting scenarios, including the use of market data, source system data, order, volume, and alerting data.
- Pro-actively identifying potential or actual emerging risks and driving control enhancements to make sure that surveillance activities operate efficiently and provide appropriate risk mitigation.
You will have previous experience working in an Investment Banking environment coupled with -
Experience of financial services businesses including investment banking.
It will be crucial for you to have excellent logical and analytical skills and high levels of attention to detail.
The ability to source and assess multiple data and information points to help make risk-based decisions and solutions.
Previous calibration experience.
Experience with the Market Abuse Risk assessment
