Summary: The Trade Support Analyst role is a 6-month contract within the Trade Validation department, focusing on supporting the BNPP Murex Decom project and contributing to the MAD Decom and migration project. The position involves trade validation, booking trades, and managing market events while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. The candidate will work closely with multiple trade desks and requires a strong understanding of rates products and operational processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Trade validation, work as front line support and cover 8-9 trade desks
- Booking trades, managing market events
- Maintaining option validation
- Reconciliation work, project work
- Team ethic important, some experience in rates
- Lot of attention to detail and mathematics involved
- Trade Validation in the rates space
- Murex knowledge, would be handy
Key Skills:
- Typically requires a university degree as an indicator of an ability to understand and apply complex theoretical concepts, although may have progressed into the role via equivalent business experience in a top tier investment bank or similar. Relevant Master's degree desirable.
- Experience in Rates products and trade support processes, systems and trade processing workflow on all levels of trade complexity.
- Experience in operational roles
- Knowledge and understanding of operational risk and permanent control framework.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise workload and escalate issues to management.
- Knowledge of company-wide policies, procedures, regulations and legislation and understanding of operational risk and permanent control framework.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate technical concepts and provide specialist guidance and advice to others.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise independently
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail and able to review and improve work of more junior colleagues.
- Excellent written and oral English skills to articulate technical issues; to be able to take the complex and make simple; to enable effective communication with the business
- Good Stakeholders management skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Computer literacy and a good knowledge of standard computer software and able to learn and utilise specialist applications appropriately
