Summary: The Trade Marketing Executive role involves developing and executing trade marketing plans that align with brand strategy for a leading FMCG company. This hybrid position requires attendance in the Midlands office two days a week to collaborate with sales and marketing teams. The successful candidate will create customer-specific campaigns and manage marketing assets to enhance brand visibility. Strong project management and digital marketing skills are essential for optimizing marketing efforts and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute trade marketing plans and campaigns aligned to brand strategy and in-year plans.
- Create compelling customer-specific campaigns, promotions, and materials that enhance brand visibility, boost sell-through, and support joint business objectives.
- Manage all marketing assets encompassing brand imagery & photography, digital optimization, marketing materials, trade adverts, and branded merchandise.
- Plan and execute best-in-class trade plans across EPD & NPD.
- Deliver annual trade shows and key customer events.
- Create and execute annual trade press plans both offline and online.
- Collaborate with multiple suppliers to source, develop, and produce permanent and temporary point of sale (POS) materials.
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact and key support for sales team requirements including decks, POS, imagery, etc.
- Manage the website and LinkedIn page monthly, ensuring correct, up-to-date, and engaging content.
- Apply internal and external data and insights from retailers and third-party vendors to optimize return on ad spend (ROAS) and drive continuous improvement.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across key departments: Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Technical.
- Ensure collaborative partnerships with the agencies employed and manage all agencies/third parties effectively.
- Manage marketing budget and a variety of projects.
Key Skills:
- Shopper/Trade Marketing or Customer marketing experience, ideally within FMCG organizations.
- Marketing qualification.
