Summary: The Tooling Design Support Engineer role involves supporting a Lead Engineer in the development of tooling for Interior and Exterior Trim at a Luxury Automotive OEM in Gaydon. The position requires proficiency in Catia V6 and at least two years of tooling design experience. This is a 6-month initial contract with on-site working arrangements and falls inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a Lead Engineer in developing the Interior/Exterior Trim tooling library.
- Utilize Catia V6 to develop standard tool designs as directed by the client.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Catia V6.
- At least 2 years of tooling design experience, specifically with BIW/Chassis/Interior/Exterior Trim.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel.
- Understanding of tooling library creation (preferred).
- Knowledge of client working practices and methods with Catia V6 (preferred).
