Summary: We are seeking an experienced TLM Developer to enhance and support reconciliation and transaction monitoring solutions within a Payments Technology team. The role requires strong expertise in SmartStream TLM and payment processing systems, along with collaboration with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing technical solutions that align with banking operations and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SmartStream TLM solutions for payment reconciliation and transaction life cycle management.
- Configure and support reconciliation workflows, matching rules, exceptions handling, and reporting within TLM.
- Work on payment-related platforms covering SWIFT, CHAPS, Faster Payments, SEPA, and international payments.
- Collaborate with business analysts and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for TLM applications.
- Develop interfaces between TLM and upstream/downstream banking systems.
- Participate in system integration testing, UAT support, and release deployments.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with HSBC architecture, security, and compliance standards.
- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with SmartStream TLM development and configuration.
- Good understanding of Payments domain within banking/financial services.
- Experience with reconciliation processes, exception management, and transaction monitoring.
- Knowledge of payment messaging standards including SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022.
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, Unix/Linux Scripting, and database concepts.
- Familiarity with APIs, file-based integrations, and Middleware technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production support and delivery environment.
