Summary: The Testing Lead role at Deloitte involves managing end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes for a Tier 1 Investment Bank in Glasgow or Bournemouth. The position requires expertise in Payments & Liquidity, along with strong skills in test design, execution, and defect management. The successful candidate will ensure robust testing governance and collaborate with stakeholders to meet business requirements. This is a 12-month contract position with a competitive day rate, classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design comprehensive E2E UAT scenarios for release-specific requirements using the Bank’s tools and formats.
- Lead the set-up, utilisation, and maintenance of E2E automation scripts, integrating them into business workflows.
- Execute release-based test cases across all partner applications (internal and external) using recommended tools.
- Manage defects: identification, documentation, participation in triage meetings, retesting, and closure tracking.
- Provide daily status reports detailing execution progress, risks, and challenges.
- Participate in periodic meetings with vendor project leads/program managers to monitor progress.
- Oversee overall testing governance, including measurement, baselining, and tracking of KPIs and SLA.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in UAT planning, design, execution, and defect management.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., ALM, Jira, Quality Center).
- Strong background in automation adoption and maintenance of E2E test scripts (e.g., Selenium, UFT).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with testing tools and adherence to testing standards.
- Mandatory domain expertise in Payments & Liquidity.
