Summary: The Testing & Inspection Engineer role focuses on conducting electrical inspections and testing within critical environments, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical inspection and testing in accordance with current regulations and standards
- Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) within critical environments
- Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and remedial works on electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and all relevant health & safety legislation
- Work on a range of systems including LV distribution, control panels, and critical power systems
- Accurately complete certification and reports using digital or paper-based systems
- Liaise with clients, site managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Identify and report defects, providing clear recommendations for remedial actions
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all times
- Adhere to strict procedures and protocols required in critical environments
