The Role
A specialist electronics engineering client of ours is looking for an experienced Test Technician to join their team on an urgent contract basis. You'll be at the heart of their motor testing operation - setting up and running dynamometer tests on electronic / electric drive systems and motors, working closely with engineers to ensure accurate, reliable results.
This is a hands-on role with real variety: from configuring test rigs and motors through to monitoring data acquisition systems, validating outputs and supporting troubleshooting on upgraded dyno platforms. If you're someone who takes pride in doing things properly and can hit the ground running in a technical environment, this is worth a look.

What We're Looking For
Previous dyno or test rig experience is strongly preferred, alongside an electrical or electronics bias. We're open to backgrounds across a range of sectors. Any of the following would be relevant:

- Marine propulsion or naval systems
- Rail engineering
- Industrial motors or drives
- Wind turbines or other rotating machinery
You should be practical, methodical and comfortable working in a fast-paced test environment with a degree of autonomy.
