Key Responsibilities:
- Support the definition of test strategies, approaches, and detailed test plans for payments-related projects.
- Contribute to test estimation, scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting of defects, risks, and issues.
- Execute the full testing life cycle including test design, test data preparation, execution, defect management, and test closure activities.
- Perform testing across UK payments domains including Faster Payments, CHAPS, Bacs, SWIFT, ISO 20022 messaging, payment gateways, and reconciliation processes.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering testing within payments environments in banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of UK payment schemes including Faster Payments (FPS), CHAPS, Bacs, and SWIFT.
- Hands-on experience conducting integration testing across distributed systems, APIs, Middleware, and messaging platforms.
- Strong defect management and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to support cross-functional resolution activities.
