Summary: This role as a Test Manager - Security Specialist in the telecoms sector involves leading testing efforts on a complex migration project, ensuring service integrity and security. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage testing efforts for high-profile, complex projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to develop documentation.
- Review contract documents to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Conduct test diagnostics to assess accuracy and detect errors.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME), providing coaching and knowledge-sharing.
- Sign off on the testing phase of project delivery.
- Determine necessary updates to Test and Validation processes.
- Make the final pass/fail decision on test activities.
Key Skills:
- Must be able to undergo BPSS clearance.
- Understanding of digital certificates & Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Familiarity with Azure-based applications.
- ISTQB certification in software testing.
- Expertise in Test Management & Defect Management.
- Hands-on experience in Unit, System Integration, Regression, UAT & Deployment Testing.
- Proven ability to test applications in cloud environments.
- Strong background in test planning & documentation within compliance-driven industries.
Salary (Rate): £372.09 daily

Your new role
You will oversee end-to-end test management, ensuring compliance, reliability, and security for critical services. As the primary testing lead, you will develop strategies, documentation, and test scripts to validate solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage testing efforts for high-profile, complex projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to develop documentation.
- Review contract documents to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Conduct test diagnostics to assess accuracy and detect errors.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME), providing coaching and knowledge-sharing
- You will also sign off on the testing phase of project delivery, determine necessary updates to Test and Validation processes and make the final pass/fail decision on test activities.
What you'll need to succeed
Must be able to undergo BPSS clearance
Understanding of digital certificates & Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Familiarity with Azure-based applications
ISTQB certification in software testing
Expertise in Test Management & Defect Management

Day Rate: £372.09 via umbrella / £319.80 via PAYE
Hybrid working in Bristol (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
