Summary: The Test Manager for Maximo Projects will oversee end-to-end test planning, execution, governance, and quality assurance for IBM Maximo EAM implementations. This role requires strong expertise in managing testing phases, including SIT, UAT, and performance testing, while ensuring alignment with Agile delivery models. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure successful project delivery. Proven experience in test management and integration testing is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the test strategy, test plan, and test approach for Maximo projects.
  • Develop and manage test schedules, resource planning, and effort estimation for SIT, UAT, performance, and regression cycles.
  • Establish test governance processes and ensure alignment with SDLC/Agile delivery models.
  • Lead and coordinate all phases of testing: Unit Test oversight, SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance, Security, and Integration Testing.
  • Ensure adequate test coverage for Maximo functional modules and related integrations.
  • Oversee test data preparation, environment setup, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Drive automation strategy (where feasible) for regression and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and end users to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate UAT with business stakeholders, providing support for issue resolution and acceptance sign-off.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all testing activities, reporting test progress, quality metrics, and risks.

Key Skills:

  • 8–12 years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in Test Management.
  • Proven experience in testing integrations.
  • Experience in quality assurance for ERPs or COTS software solutions.
  • Experience with test automation tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
