Job Description
We are seeking a Test Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute Disaster Recovery Testing for a Tier 1 bank. The successful candidate will act as the central coordinator to help develop and implement project plans, timelines, and resources for data centre disaster recovery initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Act as the central coordinator to help develop and implement project plans, timelines, and resources for data centre disaster recovery initiatives.
- Lead and manage the execution of disaster recovery exercises, ensuring all aspects are thoroughly planned and evaluated.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders from application and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment on recovery objectives and strategies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with disaster recovery processes.
- Document findings, lessons learned, and best practices for future exercises.
- Monitor and report on the progress of disaster recovery exercise result findings and ensure follow-up items are being tracked until closure.
- Experience in Disaster Recovery Testing
- Proficiency in automation tooling execution
- Ability to review and check test evidence
- Experience with IBMz, IBMi, and Distributed platforms
- Strong communication skills to liaise with both technical teams and application/business areas
