Summary: We are looking for a Test Manager to lead the testing strategy and execution for multiple projects on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the overall test strategy, approach, and plan for assigned projects or programmes
- Lead, mentor, and manage test teams (onshore/offshore), ensuring effective resource allocation
- Coordinate all testing phases including system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met
- Establish and monitor test metrics, KPIs, and reporting to provide clear visibility of quality status and risks
- Identify, track, and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate prioritisation
- Ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and best practices
- Manage test environments, test data, and tooling requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, automation, and quality assurance practices
- Support release planning and go-live activities, including risk assessments and sign-off
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Test Manager or Test Lead in complex IT environments
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and lifecycle (eg, Agile, Waterfall, DevOps)
- Experience managing large or distributed test teams
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (eg, JIRA, TestRail, ALM)
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
