Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Test Manager with expertise in data warehouse and data platform engagements. This role is based in London and offers a hybrid work environment. The position requires a candidate with a strong background in writing test strategies and plans, as well as leading test teams and guiding clients on these strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Lead and guide a team of testers, ensuring alignment with test plans and strategies.
- Engage with clients to explain and refine test strategies and plans.
- Perform hands-on testing within a data warehouse environment, utilising test automation and managing defects.
- Generate test reports and manage defect tracking in an agile delivery environment.
- Utilise Scripting skills to support testing processes.
- Collaborate on finance data, finance transformation, and reconciliation testing.
- Leverage expertise in Snowflake and DBT for testing processes.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in delivering data warehouse/data platform engagements.
- Must have insurance industry background
- Strong background in writing test strategies and test plans.
- experience in test team leadership and client guidance.
- Hands-on testing experience in a data warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in test automation, defect management, and test reporting.
- Expertise in Snowflake and DBT.
- Domain knowledge in Insurance is essential.
- Scripting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with finance data and finance transformation.
- experience in reconciliation testing.
- Testing certifications are advantageous.
- Knowledge of SODA framework.
- experience with JIRA or similar defect management and tracking tools.
