Summary: The Test Manager will lead and deliver testing activities for regulatory, compliance, and change programmes within the business, working closely with the Head of QA. This role is responsible for ensuring that all regulatory-driven changes are effectively tested and meet both business and regulatory expectations. The position requires proven experience in the insurance or financial services sector, particularly in managing compliance-driven testing initiatives. Strong stakeholder management and risk assessment skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver testing activities across regulatory, compliance, and change programmes.
- Ensure all regulatory-driven changes are tested effectively and meet business and regulatory expectations.
- Manage and coordinate third-party or offshore testing suppliers.
- Engage with Compliance and senior leaders for stakeholder management.
- Assess risk and provide clear, pragmatic assurance.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Test Manager in insurance or financial services.
- Strong experience in testing regulatory or compliance-driven programmes.
- Solid understanding of insurance systems, processes, and data flows.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of structured test methodologies and test governance.

The Test Manager will work closely alongside the Head of QA to lead and deliver testing activity across regulatory / compliance/ change programmes within the business. The role is accountable for ensuring that all regulatory-driven changes are tested effectively, meet business and regulatory expectations, and are delivered with controlled risk.
Proven experience as a Test Manager delivering within insurance or financial services.
Strong experience testing regulatory or compliance-driven programmes.
Solid understanding of insurance systems, processes, and data flows.
Experience managing and coordinating third-party or offshore testing suppliers.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with Compliance and senior leaders.
Strong knowledge of structured test methodologies and test governance.
Ability to assess risk and provide clear, pragmatic assurance.
