Summary: The Test Manager will oversee testing activities for a leading law firm's technology transformation initiatives, specifically the Matter Lifecycle Enhancement and Finance System Transformation programmes. This role requires a candidate with prior experience in a similar position within a law firm and expertise in legal application testing. The Test Manager will ensure that testing processes are efficient, structured, and aligned with project objectives, ultimately delivering quality assurance before go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, document, and own the overall test strategy, approach, and governance for assigned projects.
- Develop and maintain test plans, schedules, and resource allocations across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate with project managers, business analysts, and technical leads to ensure test coverage aligns with requirements and design.
- Oversee the setup of test environments, data preparation, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage defect triage, reporting, and resolution tracking through to closure.
- Provide regular progress updates and risk assessments to programme leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and guide Test Analysts and other team members involved in testing activities.
- Contribute to shaping an evolving test capability, ensuring processes and tools mature over time to support future projects.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience managing testing for complex, multi-system integration projects.
- Familiarity with Intapp product suite, iManage, Aderant, Master Data Management (MDM) platforms, and Azure Service Bus (ASB) an advantage.
- Strong understanding of functional, integration, and non-functional testing practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with test management tools and DevOps practices desirable.

The ideal candidate with have previous experience in a simliar role within a Law firm and have testing knowledge for legal applications like InTapp, iManage & Aderant. The Test Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities for the Matter Lifecycle Enhancement (MLE) programme and Finance System Transformation (FST) Programme. This role ensures that testing is structured, efficient, and aligned with programme objectives, delivering confidence in quality before go-live.
