Summary: Our client HSBC is seeking an experienced Test Manager to join their team in London (Finsbury Square) for a contract lasting until the end of 2026. The role involves defining test strategies, planning, and ensuring alignment with business needs while managing resources and risks. The position allows for a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the testing process and communicating progress to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and document the overall test strategy aligned with project objectives, business needs, and quality standards.
  • Develop the test plan, detailing scope, timelines, resources, and approach (functional, non-functional, UAT).
  • Ensure that the test approach covers business scenarios, functional requirements, and process flows.
  • Manage resources, including team allocation, budgeting, and risk mitigation in the testing process.
  • Ensure test environment and data is ready.
  • Ensure traceability matrix is maintained to map test cases to business requirements and track coverage.
  • Oversee defect tracking and resolution in collaboration with development and business teams.
  • Ensure the test closure report is prepared, summarizing test results, defect status, and overall quality.
  • Regular reporting on testing progress, issues, risks, and recommendations to business and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of deliverables and compliance with quality standards.

Key Skills:
